The purpose of this LCM is to inform the local social services districts that the Federal law which required reimbursement for certain JOBS administrative expenditures at 60% level was repealed. State law has also been amended to conform to the reduced reimbursement level. Consistent with the SFY 1997-98 budget, the enhanced Federal share reimbursement for JOBS administrative expenditures is reduced from the current 60% level to the 50% level. The reduction in Federal share reimbursement is effective as of August 1997 claims. The State and local districts will share equally the additional remaining costs.
