This policy bulletin establishes a procedure for the Department of Homeless Services (DHS) and provider staff to identify individuals and families who are asylum-seekers, asylees, or victims of human trafficking for the purpose of directing clients to the appropriate intake facility and precluding investigation of out-of-country addresses or other unsafe addresses, including unsafe addresses in the United States (U.S.), for families with children and adult families.
