PURPOSE: To describe the process and procedure by which, and when, DHS shelter staff shall request for consultation with the Office of the Medical Director to address a medical or behavioral problem and to provide resources to shelter staff and clinical providers. This is a procedure internal to DHS/DSS and its site providers.
