The purpose of this policy bulletin is to inform Job Center and Non Cash Assistance Food Stamp (NCA FS) Center staff that the Frequently Asked Questions About Food Stamps brochure has been revised and designated as a Family Independence Administration FIA) brochure.
The brochure has been revised to update the Food Stamp Income Guidelines and the maximum monthly Food Stamp allotment amounts that are effective October 2008. The brochure has been designated as BRC-100.
The BRC-100 brochure contains general information about the Food Stamp program and also includes a listing of Food Stamp Centers in all five boroughs where an application may be filed. The brochure can be downloaded by the public on HRA’s web site at
