The purpose of this policy bulletin is to provide staff with information regarding the New York State Nutrition Improvement Project (NYSNIP). NYSNIP is a demonstration project seeking to make it easier for single Supplemental Social Security (SSI) recipients who live alone to get and continue to receive Food Stamp (FS) benefits.
