The purpose of this policy bulletin is to inform all Non-Cash Assistance (NCA) Food Stamp (FS) center staff of a special mailing. This policy bulletin is informational for all other staff.
On September 5, 2007, the Management Information System (MIS) mailed out the Food Stamp Telephone Recertification Brochure (W-901D) to select FS households at food stamps centers F02 and F44 scheduled for recertification in November 2007. The purpose of the brochure is to inform selected FS participants of an opportunity to recertify via the telephone in lieu of reporting to their respective centers for a face-to- face interview. Households requiring an individual to be finger imaged were excluded from this mailing.
