The purpose of this policy bulletin is to provide guidance to staff on meeting the needs of individuals and families paroled into the United States (U.S.) from Ukraine who are applying for benefits and/or assistance through Cash Assistance (CA), the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA). Recipients of parole may be granted entry in the U.S. for a temporary period for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit.
