This transmittal announced a new category in the Fair Hearing Information System (FHIS) to use for issues related to the Family Health Plus (FHP) program.
Any available issue code in the Medical Assistance (MA) category can be utilized in conjunction with the FHP category, as appropriate.
A new issue code has also been developed for FHP: Issue Code 274: "Denial of FHP; Failure to Pick a Plan."
