Recently, questions have arisen as to the sharing of CPS information with service providers or coordinators and the extent to which this is permitted by Section 422.4(A) (0) of the Social Services Law. This memorandum describes the Department's policy on sharing information with service providers and coordinators, based on our interpretation of the statutory language and legislative intent.
