The Department is pleased to announce the availability of competitive award funding under the Job Opportunities and Basic Skills Training (JOBS) program for Enhanced Education and Training Services. Local social services districts (LSSD's) my submit a request for funding for purpose of improving employability and educational levels of public assistance recipients, which would lead to employment and a decreased dependency on assistance programs.
