This is to advise you that, as of October 19, 1993, districts may use inkind or indirect services or non tax levy funds, including privately donated funds, to meet any portion or the whole of the local share of the cost for Non-Mandated or Community Preventive Services. This change is the result of the enactment of Chapter 340 of the Laws of 1993 which amends Section 409- b(1) of the Social Services Law.
