This Local Commissioners Memorandum (LCM) is to inform you that on June 17, 1993, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit removed the restraining order which had prevented the Department from imposing copayments on Medicaid recipients as required by Chapter 41 of the Laws of 1992 which amended Section 367-a(6) of Social Services law.
