In order for local districts to learn more about managed care for the long term care population, the Department has scheduled a session to be held on December 13, 1995 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the NYPWA December meeting. The purpose of the session is to present information on the development of managed long term care programs, in general, and, specifically, to discuss current managed long term care programs as wll as new initiatives that are either planned or under consideration.
