I am happy to announce that the Department is making available a special teleconference sponsored by the National Association of Counties. This teleconference, entitled "Counties and the New Welfare Law", covers several different aspects of the new federal welfare reform legislation and will be broadcast on October 9, 1996, 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
