The purpose of this LCM is to provide information on the handling of monies received from the Lottery Intercept Program. Districts will receive only the Local share of the monies intercepted. The Federal and State shares will be processed by the State. Since the Federal and State shares are not being forwarded to the districts, the lottery intercept monies should be excluded from the refunds reported on the Local District claims. The Local share will be distributed to Districts through a quarterly adjustment to the State share settlement.
