06-OCFS-ADM-07: 2006 State Adoption, Termination of Parental Rights and Surrender Legislation

The purpose of this Administrative Directive is to advise local departments of social services (LDSS) and voluntary authorized agencies of the provisions of four recently enacted pieces of legislation that impact adoption practice, surrenders and the termination of parental rights (TPR). This Administrative Directive will also provide direction in relation to implementing the new laws, as is necessary.
