The purpose of this message is to remind local districts of the “Required Action” as listed in the Administrative Directive 06-ADM-02, released March 2nd, 2006. The ADM advised districts that New York State will once again start receiving Federal Tax Information (FTI) from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and detailed the impact on local districts. The new reinstituted 1099 computer match program will be handled by OTDA personnel in a secure room in Albany.
