The Department of Health, in cooperation with the NY State Office for the Aging (NYSOFA), requested comment (RFI) on the design of a point of entry model for the New York State long term care system—a major recommendation of the Governor's Workgroup on Health Care Reform. Many of you took the time to share your thoughts and concerns with us. We appreciate your contribution and want to let you know that you can now access the RFI and a summary of the 127 responses on the DOH website noted below.
