I . Purpose
The purpose of this Administrative Directive is to provide Local Departments of Social Services (LDSS) with information and guidance regarding requirements of the Medicare Modernization Act (MMA), and
the prescription drug benefit under Part D of Title XVIII of the Social
Security Act.
