This letter is to notify you that there will be no county specific
allocations established for the Jobs Opportunity and Basic Skills Program
(JOBS) for the Federal fiscal year starting October 1,1990. Although the
Federal allocation to New York State is capped, we are certain that there
will be sufficient funding for the Federal share of all of the activities of
the local districts. For budgeting purposes, you should use as a guideline
the expenditure level you maintained for the Comprehensive Employment
Program and add to that any expansion in expenditures you plan to make under
JOBS.
