Purpose
The Division of Services and Community Development (SCD), in collaboration with the Division of System Support and Information Services (SSIS) and the Office of Human Resources Development (OHRD), will present a teleconference on Friday, March 29, 1996 entitled "Plug into CONNECTIONS Plug into CONNECTIONS". The teleconference will provide local districts and voluntary agencies detailed information regarding installation of the CONNECTIONS hardware, and will provide answers to questions about preparation of the install sites. At this time the CONNECTIONS contractor will be introduced and specific information
regarding the implementation plan will be discussed. Districts and agencies
will be provided with a site prep "Action Plan" to help them as they begin
local preparations for the installation of equipment by the contractor for
the CONNECTIONS project. Availability of the federal enhanced funding
through September 30, 1996, will require strict adherence to established
schedules.
