I. PURPOSE
The purpose of this directive is to advise social services districts
(SSDs) of the enactment of 18 NYCRR 352.35 regarding the provision of
temporary housing assistance (THA) and of procedures for reviewing and
acting upon applications for THA by homeless families and
individuals. Additionally, this directive describes the eligibility
requirements with which a homeless individual or family must comply in
order to receive THA.
