I. PURPOSE
This Administrative Directive (ADM) advises social services districts
of the January, 1996 increases in the following amounts:
1. the maximum protected resource amount for a community spouse;
2. the community spouse's minimum monthly maintenance needs
allowance; and
3. the family member allowance.
These amounts are used in determining the Medical Assistance
(MA) eligibility of an institutionalized spouse.
