The Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) of the Federal Department of Agriculture has issued a final rule (7CFR Section 277.11(d)(2)) that establishes a two-year time limitation on the submission of claims. This final rule was published in the Federal Register, Vol. 65, No. 101, dated May 24, 2000.
