The purpose of this LCM is to provide you with revised claiming deadlines for the first round of DV Liaison, Learnfare, and Merit Incentive TANF Special Projects. The expenditure period for these projects will continue through December 31, 1999 and not June 30, 2000 as originally envisioned. We are revising the policy in order to close out the first round of allocations since round two allocations were announced in LCMs issued in September 1999. Local districts must submit the DSS-3922 "Financial Summary for Special Projects" claim form for expenditures for the round one projects by not later than February 15, 2000. Any remaining allocations for these programs will be rolled forward into the district's round 2 allocations for the programs.
