The Department received a 1996 State appropriation, through the William B. Hoyt Memorial Children and Family Trust Fund, for programs targeted at the prevention and treatment of family violence through community-based services. In response to the 1997 Integrated RFP released in February, the Department received 161 proposals requesting over $10 million. $812,500 was available under the RFP to support the following rust Fund priorities.
