83-ADM-66: Pass-through of the Federal Cost-of-Living Increase to Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Recipients

The purpose of this directive is to advise local social services districts that as part of P.L. 98-21, the Social Security Amendments of 1983, the usual July 1 cost-of-living adjustment COLA) for Social Security and SSI benefits is delayed until January 1,1984 with future adjustments to occur every January thereafter.
