01 OCFS INF-7: Consolidated Services Plan:2001 Income Eligibility Standards
01 OCFS INF-7 The purpose of this letter is to transmit the 2001 income standards to be used in determining eligibility for services. State income standards are established using the federal poverty level for all family sizes. Local district eligibility levels are recorded in Appendix F of the local district Consolidated Services Plan and are used as input to the district's Title XX services matrix within the Welfare Management System. NOTE: These are the income standards that WMS will use in determining eligibility for services with one specific exception. Eligibility of new services applicants for a family size of one are to be determined using the current federal standard of $8590. This approach will enable recipients who are currently in receipt of services based on last year’s income standard to continue to receive services as long as their income does not exceed the 2000 income eligibility standard.
