The purpose of this Local Commissioner’s Memorandum (LCM) is to advise local departments of social services (LDSS) of the availability of $29,105,00 in funding for community optional preventive services (COPS) programs in State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2009-10. This LCM also notifies LDSS of the requirement to report outcomes of COPS program services to the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and the separate claiming instructions for reimbursement for such programs.
