01 ADM-8The purpose of this release is to advise Social Services Districts (SSDs) of several changes in Food Stamp (FS) application and recertification processing requirements resulting from implementation of provisions of the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 (PRWORA). These changes were included in final federal Food Stamp rules which were effective June 1, 2001.
