The Department of Health and Human Services recently published its annual update of the HHS poverty guidelines to account for last (calendar) year’s increase in prices as measured by the Consumer Price Index. The attached chart reflects this increase in the Federal Poverty Guidelines. The figures on the chart represent 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines for a given family size, both by month and by annual income. These revised figures are effective June 1, 2009 through May 31, 2010.
