The purpose of this GIS is to advise LDSS staff that the State has obtained a 60-day extension, through March 1, 2009, from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to continue operating the current Long Term Home Health Care Program, a 1915(c) home and community based Medicaid waiver. DOH continues to work with CMS to resolve their concerns and provided additional information on the LTHHCP renewal application submitted to CMS September 29, 2008.
