08 MA/030: Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) Program: Price Adjustment Effective October 1, 2008

The purpose of this General Information System (GIS) message is to inform local departments of social services of a change in rates for manual requests (USCIS form G-845) to verify immigration status. The Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) Program is a fee-for-service program. Fees vary by access method and level of verification.
Prior to October 1, 2008 there was no charge to local department of social services for manual-paper G-845 SAVE requests. Effective October 1, 2008, a $2.00 fee is required to be submitted with the filing of each manual verification request submitted via the paper-based G-845 Form.
