This GIS informs Local Departments of Social Services (LDSS) of two forms of income that are not to be counted as income when determining Medicaid eligibility. They are (1) the rebates issued under the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008 and (2) the coupons consumers will receive upon request for digital-to-analog converter boxes for their televisions. This will ready their households for the switch to digital only broadcasting on February 18, 2009.
