Announces Federal approval of New York’s waiver to implement the Family Health Plus program. Family Health Plus, authorized by a new Title 11-D, Article 5 of the Social Service Law, will provide comprehensive health coverage through managed care for low income uninsured adults. When fully implemented, parents with gross income up to 150% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), and singles with gross incomes up to 100% FPL, will be eligible.
