On June 12, 2001 a GIS was issued advising that Friday, June 22, 2001 has been designated as the closing date for the Emergency Benefit component of the 2000-01 Home Energy Assistance Program. This advises districts that all emergency cases must be processed through WMS no later than close of business Friday, August 3, 2001. Benefits must be issued as soon as possible.
