This advises districts that Friday, June 22, 2001 has been designated as the closing date for the emergency benefit component of the 2000-01 Home Energy Assistance Program. The regular component for 2000-011 HEAP closed on Wednesday, MAY 16, 2001.
The GIS states that all local departments of social services and alternate certificates must continue to accept applications and requests for applications and/ or appointments to apply for emergency HEAP benefits through the close of business (COB) on June 22, 2001.
