On October 10, 2000 the State temporarily suspended the mailing of the Transitional Medical Assistance (TMA) reports to recipients due to a processing problem. The identifying numbers on these reports are LDSS 4151 and LDSS 4151A. They are commonly referred to as the TMA mailers.
Informs districts that GIS 00 MA/023, issued October 19, 2000, instructed Local Social Services Districts to authorize TMA for all potentially eligible TMA recipients as if they had returned a completed mailer and were eligible for TMA. This GIS says that no one should have had their TMA case closed for failure to return the TMA mailer.
