The purpose of this policy bulletin is to inform all Job Center and Non Cash Assistance Food Stamp (NCA FS) Center staff about a special Job Fair for Veterans and members of their families. The New York State Department of Labor (NYSDL) has created a flyer for the Job Fair entitled Operation Hire: Veterans’ Career Fair.
On Thursday, November 13, 2008, the NYSDL will host a Job Fair specifically for veterans at the New Yorker Hotel, located at 481 Eighth Avenue, New York, NY 10001, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
