(This Policy Directive Replaces PD #99-71R[3])
Under New York State Law, districts are required to inform applicants/participants that the benefits of custodial caretaker relatives with children under 13 years of age cannot be reduced/terminated because of non-compliance with work requirements if they do not have appropriate, accessible, affordable, and suitable child care.
