The instructions in this policy directive are for staff in the Job Centers and are informational for all other staff. Applicants/participants deemed eligible for or in receipt of public assistance (PA) may now choose to receive child care assistance instead of PA. If the applicant/participant is determined to be eligible for this benefit, child care payments are guaranteed for as long as the household’s income continues to be within the PA income guidelines.
