#04-32-OPE: Payment Of NYCHA Rent Arrears For Residents Of Homeless Shelters
This bulletin is to inform staff that the NYC Department of Homeless Services (DHS) has implemented a program that will allow residents in homeless shelters and facilities who have lost their eligibility for public housing and Section 8 subsidies due to unpaid rent arrears owed to New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) the opportunity to renew their eligibility by agreeing to pay the arrears.
