The needs of a recipient of Supplemental Security Income (SSI) who would otherwise be required to be included in the filing unit of a Public Assistance (PA) household must be included when determining the standard of need for the PA household. Once the standard of need is determined, it is then reduced by the SSI recipient’s proportionate share of needs.
