As a result of the Acevedo lawsuit, the New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA) must contact all Public Assistance (PA) households who were sanctioned for failure to comply with the Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) on or after January 1, 2000 and inform them that they have the right to request a Fair Hearing (FH) to challenge their OCSE sanction.
