(This Procedure Replaces All Previous Instructions on This Topic) Social Services Law (SSL) Section 131-a (8)(a)(iii) requires that on June 1st annually, the public assistance (PA) earned income disregard (EID) be adjusted up or down to reflect the change in the most recently issued poverty guidelines of the United States Census Bureau.
