#06-07-ELI: Mailed And Faxed Public Assistance And/Or Food Stamp Applications
This policy directive has been revised to reflect the following updates and changes: • The attached NPA/MICSA Food Stamp Site Directory and Job Center Directory have been updated to include current addresses and phone numbers. • All references to Non–Paperless Office System (POS) Centers were removed. • Removed Tracking Application Process. • Public Assistance (PA) case Rejection Code 286 and Food Stamp Rejection Code 258 are now obsolete and have been replaced by Reject Code E10. • The Food Stamp Application Expedited Processing Summary Sheet (LDSS-3938) has replaced the Food Stamp Benefits Expedited Processing Screening Sheet (W-140K). • The language of the Fair Hearing Implications section has been modified to express current practice.
