This policy bulletin is to inform staff in the Job Centers and the Non- Public Assistance (NPA) Food Stamp (FS) Offices that the 2004– 2005 regular benefit component of the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) closed on Friday, May 13, 2005. The emergency benefit component will close on Friday, May 27, 2005. Applications for regular HEAP benefits filed on or before May 13, 2005, will be honored.
