New FS COLA * new thrifty food plan amounts, deductions etc.
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has released its cost-of-living adjustments for the FS Program, which will become effective October 1, 2007. These adjustments will affect the following standards:
• FS standard deduction
• Excess shelter maximum and standard deduction amounts
• FS table amounts for the 130% Gross Income Test and 165% Gross Income Test
• Net income eligibility levels
• Thrifty Food Plan (TFP) FS benefit amounts
