The purpose of this policy bulletin is to inform all Job Center and Non-Public Assistance (NPA) Food Stamps (FS) office staff of the free Summer Meals program administered by the New York City Department of Education.
From June 28, 2007, through August 31, 2007, Summer Meals will provide breakfasts and lunches at no charge to all children up to age 19 at more than 600 public schools, pools, parks and other sites in each of the five boroughs. Breakfast will be served from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM, and lunch from 11:00 AM to 1:15 PM.
