Subtopic(s): Upcoming Diaper and Multi-Generational Food Payments
The purpose of this policy bulletin is to inform Job Center, HASA Center, Non-Cash Assistance Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Center, and Home Energy Assistance Program
(HEAP) staff of a new benefit being issued to eligible participants by the Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA). It is informational for all other staff.
Through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA), federal funding has been allocated to the State of New York for the Pandemic Emergency Assistance Fund (PEAF). These funds will be allocated to each district for diaper and multi-generational food payments.
